حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ مَا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَسْرُدُ سَرْدَكُمْ هَذَا وَلَكِنَّهُ كَانَ يَتَكَلَّمُ بِكَلَامٍ بَيْنَهُ فَصْلٌ يَحْفَظُهُ مَنْ جَلَسَ إِلَيْهِ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏لَا نَعْرِفُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ حَدِيثِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَدْ رَوَاهُ يُونُسُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ.

Urdu Translation

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی الله عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم تمہاری طرح جلدی جلدی نہیں بولتے تھے بلکہ آپ ایسی گفتگو کرتے جس میں ٹھہراؤ ہوتا تھا، جو آپ کے پاس بیٹھا ہوتا وہ اسے یاد کر لیتا۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ہم اسے صرف زہری کی روایت سے جانتے ہیں، ۲- اسے یونس بن یزید نے بھی زہری سے روایت کیا ہے۔

English Translation

Narrated 'Urwah: that 'Aishah said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) did not speak quickly like you do now, rather he would speak so clearly, unmistakably, that those who sat with him would memorize it.
