حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ الشَّعْبِيِّ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ صَلَّى بِنَا الْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ شُعْبَةَ، فَنَهَضَ فِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَسَبَّحَ بِهِ الْقَوْمُ وَسَبَّحَ بِهِمْ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَلَمَّا صَلَّى بَقِيَّةَ صَلَاتِهِ سَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ سَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيِ السَّهْوِ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ حَدَّثَهُمْ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَعَلَ بِهِمْ مِثْلَ الَّذِي فَعَلَ . قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ،‏‏‏‏ وَسَعْدٍ،‏‏‏‏ وَعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُحَيْنَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ حَدِيثُ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَدْ رُوِيَ مِنْ غَيْرِ وَجْهٍ عَنْ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ وَقَدْ تَكَلَّمَ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ فِي ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى مِنْ قِبَلِ حِفْظِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَحْمَدُ:‏‏‏‏ لَا يُحْتَجُّ بِحَدِيثِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وقَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيل ابْنُ أَبِي لَيْلَى هُوَ صَدُوقٌ وَلَا أَرْوِي عَنْهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏لِأَنَّهُ لَا يَدْرِي صَحِيحَ حَدِيثِهِ مِنْ سَقِيمِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَكُلُّ مَنْ كَانَ مِثْلَ هَذَا فَلَا أَرْوِي عَنْهُ شَيْئًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَدْ رُوِيَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ مِنْ غَيْرِ وَجْهٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏رَوَاهُ سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُبَيْلٍ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ،‏‏‏‏ وَجَابِرٌ الْجُعْفِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَدْ ضَعَّفَهُ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏تَرَكَهُ يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ،‏‏‏‏ وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ وَغَيْرُهُمَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَى هَذَا عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ الرَّجُلَ إِذَا قَامَ فِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ مَضَى فِي صَلَاتِهِ وَسَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏مِنْهُمْ مَنْ رَأَى قَبْلَ التَّسْلِيمِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ رَأَى بَعْدَ التَّسْلِيمِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَنْ رَأَى قَبْلَ التَّسْلِيمِ فَحَدِيثُهُ أَصَحُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏لِمَا رَوَى الزُّهْرِيُّ وَيَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ابْنِ بُحَيْنَةَ.

Urdu Translation

عامر بن شراخیل شعبی کہتے ہیں:   ہمیں مغیرہ بن شعبہ رضی الله عنہ نے نماز پڑھائی، دو رکعت کے بعد ( بیٹھنے کے بجائے ) وہ کھڑے ہو گئے، تو لوگوں نے انہیں «سبحان الله» کہہ کر یاد دلایا کہ وہ بیٹھ جائیں تو انہوں نے «سبحان الله» کہہ کر انہیں اشارہ کیا کہ وہ لوگ کھڑے ہو جائیں، پھر جب انہوں نے اپنی بقیہ نماز پڑھ لی تو سلام پھیرا پھر بیٹھے بیٹھے سہو کے دو سجدے کئے۔ پھر لوگوں سے حدیث بیان کی کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے لوگوں کے ساتھ ایسا ہی کیا تھا جیسے انہوں نے ( مغیرہ نے ) کیا ہے۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- مغیرہ بن شعبہ رضی الله عنہ کی حدیث ان سے کئی اور بھی سندوں سے مروی ہے، ۲- بعض اہل علم نے ابن ابی لیلیٰ کے سلسلہ میں ان کے حفظ کے تعلق سے کلام کیا ہے۔ احمد کہتے ہیں: ابن ابی لیلیٰ کی حدیث لائق استدلال ہیں، ۳۔ محمد بن اسماعیل بخاری کہتے ہیں: ابن ابی لیلیٰ صدوق ( سچے ) ہیں لیکن میں ان سے روایت نہیں کرتا اس لیے کہ یہ نہیں معلوم کہ ان کی حدیثیں کون سی صحیح ہیں اور کون سی ضعیف ہیں، اور جو بھی ایسا ہو میں اس سے روایت نہیں کرتا، ۴- یہ حدیث مغیرہ بن شعبہ رضی الله عنہ سے اور بھی سندوں سے مروی ہے، ۵- اسے سفیان نے بطریق: «جابر عن المغيرة بن شبيل عن قيس بن أبي حازم عن المغيرة بن شعبة» روایت کیا ہے۔ اور جابر جعفی کو بعض اہل علم نے ضعیف قرار دیا ہے، یحییٰ بن سعید اور عبدالرحمٰن بن مہدی وغیرہ نے ان سے حدیثیں نہیں لی ہیں، ۶- اس باب میں عقبہ بن عامر، سعد اور عبداللہ بن بحینہ رضی الله عنہ سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں، ۷- اسی پر اہل علم کا عمل ہے کہ آدمی جب دو رکعتیں پڑھ کر کھڑا ہو جائے تو اپنی نماز جاری رکھے اور ( اخیر میں ) دو سجدے کر لے، ۸- ان میں سے بعض کا خیال ہے کہ سجدے سلام پھیرنے سے پہلے کرے اور بعض کا خیال ہے کہ سلام پھیرنے کے بعد کرے۔ ۹- جس کا خیال ہے کہ سلام پھیر نے سے پہلے کرے اس کی حدیث زیادہ صحیح ہے اس لیے کہ اسے زہری اور یحییٰ بن سعید انصاری نے عبدالرحمٰن بن اعرج سے اور عبدالرحمٰن نے عبداللہ ابن بحینہ رضی الله عنہ سے روایت کیا ہے۔

English Translation

Ash-Sha'bi narrated: Al-Mughirah bin Shu'bah led us in Salat, and he continued after the two Rak'ah, so the people said: 'Subhan Allah' and he said: 'Subhan Allah' to them. When he finished his Salat he said the Taslim then performed two prostrations of As-Sahw while he was sitting. Then he narrated to them that Allah's Messenger did the same with them as he had done.
