حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ إِسْحَاق، حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَكَثَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمَكَّةَ ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ سَنَةً، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَعْنِي يُوحَى إِلَيْهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَتُوُفِّيَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ ثَلَاثٍ وَسِتِّينَ سَنَةً . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَابِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَنَسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَدَغْفَلِ بْنِ حَنْظَلَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَا يَصِحُّ لِدَغْفَلٍ سَمَاعٌ مِنَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلَا رُؤْيَةٌ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ وَحَدِيثُ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ حَدِيثِ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ.

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن عباس رضی الله عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم مکہ میں تیرہ ( ۱۳ ) سال رہے یعنی آپ پر تیرہ سال تک وحی کی جاتی رہی اور آپ کی وفات ترسٹھ ( ۶۳ ) سال کی عمر میں ہوئی۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- ابن عباس رضی الله عنہما کی یہ حدیث عمرو بن دینار کی روایت سے حسن غریب ہے، ۲- اس باب میں عائشہ، انس اور دغفل بن حنظلہ رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں، ۳- اور دغفل کا نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے نہ تو سماع صحیح ہے اور نہ ہی رؤیت۔

English Translation

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: The Prophet (ﷺ) stayed in Makkah for thirteen years - meaning while he was receiving Revelation - and he died when he was sixty-three years old.
