حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ أَبُو بَكْرٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعُمَرُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعُثْمَانُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعَلِيٌّ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَطَلْحَةُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالزُّبَيْرُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَوْفٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَسَعْدٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَسَعِيدٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ فِي الْجَنَّةِ . أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُصْعَبٍ قِرَاءَةً، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَحْوَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ فِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَقَدْ رُوِيَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَحْوَ هَذَا وَهَذَا أَصَحُّ مِنَ الْحَدِيثِ الْأَوَّلِ

Urdu Translation

عبدالرحمٰن بن عوف رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”ابوبکر جنتی ہیں، عمر جنتی ہیں، عثمان جنتی ہیں، علی جنتی ہیں، طلحہ جنتی ہیں، زبیر جنتی ہیں، عبدالرحمٰن بن عوف جنتی ہیں، سعد جنتی ہیں، سعید ( سعید بن زید ) جنتی ہیں اور ابوعبیدہ بن جراح جنتی ہیں ۱؎ ( رضی اللہ علیہم اجمعین ) “ ابومصعب نے ہمیں خبر دی کہ انہوں نے عبدالعزیز بن محمد کے آگے پڑھا اور عبدالعزیز نے عبدالرحمٰن بن حمید سے اور عبدالرحمٰن نے اپنے والد حمید کے واسطہ سے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے اسی طرح کی حدیث روایت کی لیکن اس میں عبدالرحمٰن بن عوف کے واسطہ کا ذکر نہیں ہے۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث عبدالرحمٰن بن حمید سے بطریق: «عن أبيه عن سعيد بن زيد عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم» بھی آئی ہے، ( اور اسی طرح آئی ہے ) ، اور یہ پہلی حدیث سے زیادہ صحیح ہے ( جو آگے آ رہی ہے ) ۔

English Translation

Narrated 'Abdur-Rahman bin 'Awf: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Abu Bakr is in Paradise, 'Umar is in Paradise, 'Uthman is in Paradise, 'Ali is in Paradise, Talhah is in Paradise, Az-Zubair is in Paradise, 'Abdur-Rahman bin 'Awf is in Paradise, Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas is in Paradise, and Abu 'Ubaidah bin Al-Jarrah is in Paradise.
