حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَبِيبِ بْنِ عَرَبِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ، قَال:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ طَلْحَةَ بْنَ خِرَاشٍ، يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ لَا تَمَسُّ النَّارُ مُسْلِمًا رَآنِي،‏‏‏‏ أَوْ رَأَى مَنْ رَآنِي . قَالَ طَلْحَةُ:‏‏‏‏ فَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَالَ مُوسَى:‏‏‏‏ وَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ طَلْحَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ يَحْيَى:‏‏‏‏ وَقَالَ لِيّ مُوسَى:‏‏‏‏ وَقَدْ رَأَيْتُنِي وَنَحْنُ نَرْجُو اللَّهَ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏لَا نَعْرِفُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ حَدِيثِ مُوسَى بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَرَوَى عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمَدِينِيِّ، وَغَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْحَدِيثِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُوسَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ.

Urdu Translation

جابر بن عبداللہ رضی الله عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا: ”جہنم کی آگ کسی ایسے مسلمان کو نہیں چھوئے گی جس نے مجھے دیکھا، یا کسی ایسے شخص کو دیکھا جس نے مجھے دیکھا ہے“، طلحہ ( راوی حدیث ) نے کہا: تو میں نے جابر بن عبداللہ رضی الله عنہما کو دیکھا ہے اور موسیٰ نے کہا: میں نے طلحہ کو دیکھا ہے اور یحییٰ نے کہا کہ مجھ سے موسیٰ ( راوی حدیث ) نے کہا: اور تم نے مجھے دیکھا ہے اور ہم سب اللہ سے نجات کے امیدوار ہیں۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن غریب ہے، ہم اسے صرف موسیٰ بن ابراہیم انصاری کی روایت سے جانتے ہیں، ۲- اس حدیث کو علی بن مدینی نے اور محدثین میں سے کئی اور لوگوں نے بھی موسیٰ سے روایت کی ہے۔

English Translation

Narrated Talhah bin Khirash: I heard Jabir bin 'Abdullah saying: 'I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying: The Fire shall not touch the Muslim who saw me, or saw one who saw me.
