حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هِشَامٍ الرِّفَاعِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ مَا غِرْتُ عَلَى أَحَدٍ مِنْ أَزْوَاجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا غِرْتُ عَلَى خَدِيجَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَا بِي أَنْ أَكُونَ أَدْرَكْتُهَا وَمَا ذَاكَ إِلَّا لِكَثْرَةِ ذِكْرِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَإِنْ كَانَ لَيَذْبَحُ الشَّاةَ فَيَتَتَبَّعُ بِهَا صَدَائِقَ خَدِيجَةَ فَيُهْدِيهَا لَهُنَّ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ.

Urdu Translation

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی الله عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی زوجات میں سے کسی پر مجھے اتنا رشک نہیں آیا جتنا خدیجہ پر آیا، اور اگر میں ان کو پا لیتی تو میرا کیا حال ہوتا؟ اور اس کی وجہ محض یہ تھی کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم انہیں کثرت سے یاد کرتے تھے، اگر آپ بکری بھی ذبح کرتے تو ڈھونڈ ڈھونڈ کر خدیجہ کی سہیلیوں کو ہدیہ بھیجتے تھے۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث حسن صحیح غریب ہے۔

English Translation

Narrated 'Aishah: I was not jealous of any wife of the Prophet (ﷺ) as I was jealous of Khadijah, and it was not because I did not see her. It was only because the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) mentioned her so much, and because whenever he would slaughter a sheep, he would look for Khadijah's friends to give them some of it.
