حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏لَغِفَارٌ،‏‏‏‏ وَأَسْلَمُ،‏‏‏‏ وَمُزَيْنَةُ،‏‏‏‏ وَمَنْ كَانَ مِنْ جُهَيْنَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَوْ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ جُهَيْنَةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَنْ كَانَ مِنْ مُزَيْنَةَ خَيْرٌ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مِنْ أَسَدٍ،‏‏‏‏ وَطَيِّئٍ،‏‏‏‏ وَغَطَفَانَ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.

Urdu Translation

ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”قسم ہے اس ذات کی جس کے ہاتھ میں محمد کی جان ہے! غفار، اسلم، مزنیہ اور جو جہنیہ کے لوگ“ یا آپ نے فرمایا: ”جہنیہ اور جو مزنیہ کے لوگ ہیں اللہ کے نزدیک قیامت کے دن اسد، طی اور غطفان سے بہتر ہوں گے“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے۔

English Translation

Narrated Abu Hurairah: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: By the One in Whose Hand is Muhammad's soul! Ghifar, Aslam, Muzainah, and whoever is from Juhainah, or he said: Juhainah, and whoever is from Muzainah, they are better with Allah on the Day of Judgment than Asad, Tayyi' and Ghatafan.
