حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَيْلٌ لِلْأَعْقَابِ مِنَ النَّارِ . قال:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو،‏‏‏‏ وَعَائِشَةَ،‏‏‏‏ وَجَابِرٍ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ هُوَ ابْنُ جَزْءٍ الزُّبَيْدِيُّ،‏‏‏‏ وَمُعَيْقِيبٍ،‏‏‏‏ وَخَالِدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ،‏‏‏‏ وَشُرَحْبِيلَ ابْنِ حَسَنَةَ،‏‏‏‏ وَعَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ،‏‏‏‏ وَيَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ. قال أبو عيسى:‏‏‏‏ حَدِيثُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَدْ رُوِيَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّهُ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَيْلٌ لِلْأَعْقَابِ وَبُطُونِ الْأَقْدَامِ مِنَ النَّارِ . قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَفِقْهُ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ أَنَّهُ لَا يَجُوزُ الْمَسْحُ عَلَى الْقَدَمَيْنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏إِذَا لَمْ يَكُنْ عَلَيْهِمَا خُفَّانِ أَوْ جَوْرَبَانِ.

Urdu Translation

ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی الله علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”ایڑیوں کے دھونے میں کوتاہی برتنے والوں کے لیے خرابی ہے یعنی جہنم کی آگ ہے“ ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- ابوہریرہ کی حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں عبداللہ بن عمر، عائشہ، جابر، عبداللہ بن حارث بن جزء زبیدی معیقیب، خالد بن ولید، شرحبیل بن حسنہ، عمرو بن العاص اور یزید بن ابی سفیان سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں، ۳- نبی اکرم صلی الله علیہ وسلم سے مروی ہے کہ ”ان ایڑیوں اور قدم کے تلوؤں کے لیے جو وضو میں سوکھی رہ جائیں خرابی ہے یعنی جہنم کی آگ ہے“ اس حدیث کا مطلب یہ ہوا کہ پیروں کا مسح جائز نہیں اگر ان پر موزے یا جراب نہ ہوں۔
