Baab Nawafil Aur Sunnaton Ke Ehkaam O Masail

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَعْلَى بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْرَأُ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ وَنَادَوْا يَا مَالِكُ . قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَجَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ حَدِيثُ يَعْلَى بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهُوَ حَدِيثُ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَدِ اخْتَارَ قَوْمٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ أَنْ يَقْرَأَ الْإِمَامُ فِي الْخُطْبَةِ آيًا مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ الشَّافِعِيُّ:‏‏‏‏ وَإِذَا خَطَبَ الْإِمَامُ فَلَمْ يَقْرَأْ فِي خُطْبَتِهِ شَيْئًا مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ أَعَادَ الْخُطْبَةَ.

Urdu Translation

یعلیٰ بن امیہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   میں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو منبر پر پڑھتے سنا: «ونادوا يا مالك» ۱؎ ”اور وہ پکار کر کہیں گے اے مالک!“ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یعلیٰ بن امیہ رضی الله عنہ کی حدیث حسن صحیح غریب ہے، اور یہی ابن عیینہ کی حدیث ہے، ۲- اس باب میں ابوہریرہ اور جابر بن سمرہ رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں، ۳- اہل علم کی ایک جماعت نے امام کے خطبہ میں قرآن کی کچھ آیتیں پڑھنے کو پسند کیا ہے ۲؎، شافعی کہتے ہیں: امام جب خطبہ دے اور اس میں قرآن کچھ نہ پڑھے تو خطبہ دہرائے۔

English Translation

Safwan bin Ya'la bin Umayyah narrated from his father who said: I heard the Prophet reciting, when on the Minbar: And they will cry: O Malik (keeper of Hell)! . [He said:] There are narrations on this topic from Abu Hurairah and Jabir bin Samurah.
