Baab Sajda Tilawat Ke Ehkaam O Masail

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ زَيْدِ بْنِ جُدْعَانَ الْقُرَشِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سُئِلَ عِمْرَانُ بْنُ حُصَيْنٍ عَنْ صَلَاةِ الْمُسَافِرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَجَجْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَحَجَجْتُ مَعَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَعَ عُمَرَ فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَعَ عُثْمَانَ سِتَّ سِنِينَ مِنْ خِلَافَتِهِ أَوْ ثَمَانِيَ ثَمَانِي فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ.

Urdu Translation

ابونضرہ سے روایت ہے کہ   عمران بن حصین رضی الله عنہ سے مسافر کی نماز کے بارے میں پوچھا گیا تو انہوں نے کہا: میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ حج کیا تو آپ نے دو ہی رکعتیں پڑھیں، اور میں نے ابوبکر رضی الله عنہ کے ساتھ حج کیا تو انہوں نے بھی دو ہی رکعتیں پڑھیں، اور عمر رضی الله عنہ کے ساتھ کیا تو انہوں نے بھی دو ہی رکعتیں پڑھیں، اور عثمان رضی الله عنہ کے ساتھ ان کی خلافت کے ابتدائی چھ یا آٹھ سالوں میں کیا تو انہوں نے بھی دو ہی رکعتیں پڑھیں۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث صحیح ہے۔

English Translation

Abu An-Nadrah said: Imran bin Husain was asked about the traveler's prayer. He said: 'I performed Hajj with the Messenger of Allah, and he prayed two Rak'ah. I performed Hajj with Abu Bakr, and he prayed two Rak'ah and with Umar, and he prayed two Rak;ah; and with Uthman for six years of his Khilafah, or eight years, and he prayed two Rak'ah.
