Baab Taharat Ke Masail

حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادٌ، وَقُتَيْبَةُ،‏‏‏‏ وَأَبُو كُرَيْبٍ،‏‏‏‏ قَالُوا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ، قَال:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ مُجَاهِدًا يُحَدِّثُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَرَّ عَلَى قَبْرَيْنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّهُمَا يُعَذَّبَانِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَا يُعَذَّبَانِ فِي كَبِيرٍ:‏‏‏‏ أَمَّا هَذَا فَكَانَ لَا يَسْتَتِرُ مِنْ بَوْلِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَمَّا هَذَا فَكَانَ يَمْشِي بِالنَّمِيمَةِ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ،‏‏‏‏ وَأَبِي مُوسَى،‏‏‏‏ وَعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حَسَنَةَ،‏‏‏‏ وَزَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ،‏‏‏‏ وَأَبِي بَكْرَةَ. قال أبو عيسى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَرَوَى مَنْصُورٌ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ فِيهِ عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَرِوَايَةُ الْأَعْمَشِ أَصَحُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وسَمِعْت أَبَا بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ أَبَانَ الْبَلْخِيَّ مُسْتَمْلِي وَكِيعٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ وَكِيعًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ الْأَعْمَشُ أَحْفَظُ لِإِسْنَادِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ مِنْ مَنْصُورٍ.

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن عباس رضی الله عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   نبی اکرم صلی الله علیہ وسلم کا گزر دو قبروں کے پاس سے ہوا تو آپ نے فرمایا: ”یہ دونوں قبر والے عذاب دیئے جا رہے ہیں، اور کسی بڑی چیز میں عذاب نہیں دیئے جا رہے ( کہ جس سے بچنا مشکل ہوتا ) رہا یہ تو یہ اپنے پیشاب سے بچتا نہیں تھا ۱؎ اور رہا یہ تو یہ چغلی کیا کرتا تھا“ ۲؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں ابوہریرہ، ابوموسیٰ، عبدالرحمٰن بن حسنہ، زید بن ثابت، اور ابوبکرہ رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں۔

English Translation

Ibn Abbas narrated: The Prophet passed by two graves. He said: 'These two are being punished. And they are not being punished for something major. As for this one, he would not protect himself from his urine. As for this one, he used to spread Namimah (slander).'
