حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادٌ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ يَوْمُ عَرَفَةَ وَيَوْمُ النَّحْرِ وَأَيَّامُ التَّشْرِيقِ عِيدُنَا أَهْلَ الْإِسْلَامِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهِيَ أَيَّامُ أَكْلٍ وَشُرْبٍ . قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَسَعْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَجَابِرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَنُبَيْشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَبِشْرِ بْنِ سُحَيْمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ حُذَافَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَنَسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَحَمْزَةَ بْنِ عَمْرٍو الْأَسْلَمِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَكَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ وَحَدِيثُ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَى هَذَا عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ يَكْرَهُونَ الصِّيَامَ أَيَّامَ التَّشْرِيقِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏إِلَّا أَنَّ قَوْمًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَغَيْرِهِمْ رَخَّصُوا لِلْمُتَمَتِّعِ إِذَا لَمْ يَجِدْ هَدْيًا وَلَمْ يَصُمْ فِي الْعَشْرِ أَنْ يَصُومَ أَيَّامَ التَّشْرِيقِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَبِهِ يَقُولُ مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالشَّافِعِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَحْمَدُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَإِسْحَاق. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ وَأَهْلُ الْعِرَاقِ يَقُولُونَ:‏‏‏‏ مُوسَى بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ رَبَاحٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَهْلُ مِصْرَ يَقُولُونَ:‏‏‏‏ مُوسَى بْنُ عُلِيٍّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْت قُتَيْبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ اللَّيْثَ بْنَ سَعْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ مُوسَى بْنُ عَلِيٍّ:‏‏‏‏ لَا أَجْعَلُ أَحَدًا فِي حِلٍّ صَغَّرَ اسْمَ أَبِي.

Urdu Translation

عقبہ بن عامر رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”یوم عرفہ ۱؎، یوم نحر ۲؎ اور ایام تشریق ۳؎ ہماری یعنی اہل اسلام کی عید کے دن ہیں، اور یہ کھانے پینے کے دن ہیں“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- عقبہ بن عامر رضی الله عنہ کی حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں علی، سعد، ابوہریرہ، جابر، نبیشہ، بشر بن سحیم، عبداللہ بن حذافہ، انس، حمزہ بن عمرو اسلمی، کعب بن مالک، عائشہ، عمرو بن العاص اور عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں، ۳- اہل علم کا اسی پر عمل ہے۔ یہ لوگ ایام تشریق میں روزہ رکھنے کو حرام قرار دیتے ہیں۔ البتہ صحابہ کرام وغیرہم کی ایک جماعت نے حج تمتع کرنے والے کو اس کی رخصت دی ہے جب وہ ہدی نہ پائے اور اس نے ذی الحجہ کے ابتدائی دس دن میں روزہ نہ رکھے ہوں کہ وہ ایام تشریق میں روزہ رکھے۔ مالک بن انس، شافعی، احمد اور اسحاق بن راہویہ بھی اسی کے قائل ہیں۔

English Translation

Uqbah bin Amir narrated that : The Messenger of Allah said: The Day of Arafah, the Day of Nahr, and the Days of Tashriq are Eid for us. The people of Islam, and they are days of eating and drinking,
