حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ هِلَالٍ الصَّوَّافُ الْبَصْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، وَعَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِيُّ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ طَافَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ فَإِذَا انْتَهَى إِلَى الرُّكْنِ أَشَارَ إِلَيْهِ . قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ جَابِرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأُمِّ سَلَمَةَ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ حَدِيثُ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَدْ كَرِهَ قَوْمٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ أَنْ يَطُوفَ الرَّجُلُ بِالْبَيْتِ وَبَيْنَ الصَّفَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْمَرْوَةِ رَاكِبًا إِلَّا مِنْ عُذْرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهُوَ قَوْلُ الشَّافِعِيِّ.

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن عباس رضی الله عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنی سواری پر بیت اللہ کا طواف کیا جب ۱؎ آپ حجر اسود کے پاس پہنچتے تو اس کی طرف اشارہ کرتے ۲؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- ابن عباس رضی الله عنہما کی حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں جابر، ابوالطفیل اور ام سلمہ رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں، ۳- اہل علم کی ایک جماعت نے بیت اللہ کا طواف، اور صفا و مروہ کی سعی سوار ہو کر کرنے کو مکروہ کہا ہے الا یہ کہ کوئی عذر ہو، یہی شافعی کا بھی قول ہے۔

English Translation

Ibn Abbas narrated: The Prophet performed Tawaf upon his mount, so when he arrived at the (Black Stone) corner, he pointed to it.
