Baab Giri Pari Gumshida Chezon Se Mutaliq Masail

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أُثَيْعٍ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَأَلْتُ عَلِيًّا بِأَيِّ شَيْءٍ بُعِثْتَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ بِأَرْبَعٍ:‏‏‏‏ لَا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ إِلَّا نَفْسٌ مُسْلِمَةٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَا يَطُوفُ بِالْبَيْتِ عُرْيَانٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَا يَجْتَمِعُ الْمُسْلِمُونَ وَالْمُشْرِكُونَ بَعْدَ عَامِهِمْ هَذَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَنْ كَانَ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَهْدٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَعَهْدُهُ إِلَى مُدَّتِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَنْ لَا مُدَّةَ لَهُ فَأَرْبَعَةُ أَشْهُرٍ . قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ حَدِيثُ عَلِيٍّ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ. ح

Urdu Translation

زید بن اثیع کہتے ہیں کہ   میں نے علی رضی الله عنہ سے پوچھا: آپ کو کن باتوں کا حکم دے کر بھیجا گیا ہے؟ ۱؎ انہوں نے کہا: چار باتوں کا: جنت میں صرف وہی جان داخل ہو گی جو مسلمان ہو، بیت اللہ کا طواف کوئی ننگا ہو کر نہ کرے۔ مسلمان اور مشرک اس سال کے بعد جمع نہ ہوں، جس کسی کا نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے کوئی عہد ہو تو اس کا یہ عہد اس کی مدت تک کے لیے ہو گا۔ اور جس کی کوئی مدت نہ ہو تو اس کی مدت چار ماہ ہے۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- علی رضی الله عنہ کی حدیث حسن ہے، ۲- اس باب میں ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ سے بھی روایت ہے۔

English Translation

Zaid bin Uthai said: XI asked Ali: What is it that you were sent with? He said: With four things: None will be admitted into Paradise except for the soul that is a Muslim. None is to perform Tawaf around the House while naked. The Muslims and the idolaters will not be gathering (in Makkah) together after this year. And for whomever there is a covenant between him and the Prophet, then his covenant is (valid) until its term, and for that in which there was no term, then it shall be four months.
