Baab Tahajud Ka Bayan

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ , حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا , قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ عَلَى عَهْدِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَأَنَّ بِيَدِي قِطْعَةَ إِسْتَبْرَقٍ فَكَأَنِّي لَا أُرِيدُ مَكَانًا مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ إِلَّا طَارَتْ إِلَيْهِ ، وَرَأَيْتُ كَأَنَّ اثْنَيْنِ أَتَيَانِي أَرَادَا أَنْ يَذْهَبَا بِي إِلَى النَّارِ ، فَتَلَقَّاهُمَا مَلَكٌ , فَقَالَ : لَمْ تُرَعْ خَلِّيَا عَنْهُ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے ابوالنعمان نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے حماد بن زید نے بیان کیا، ان سے ایوب سختیانی نے، ان سے نافع نے، ان سے عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہ   میں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے زمانے میں یہ خواب دیکھا کہ گویا ایک گاڑھے ریشمی کپڑے کا ایک ٹکڑا میرے ہاتھ ہے۔ جیسے میں جنت میں جس جگہ کا بھی ارادہ کرتا ہوں تو یہ ادھر اڑا کے مجھ کو لے جاتا ہے اور میں نے دیکھا کہ جیسے دو فرشتے میرے پاس آئے اور انہوں نے مجھے دوزخ کی طرف لے جانے کا ارادہ کیا ہی تھا کہ ایک فرشتہ ان سے آ کر ملا اور ( مجھ سے ) کہا کہ ڈرو نہیں ( اور ان سے کہا کہ ) اسے چھوڑ دو۔

English Translation

Narrated Nafi`: Ibn `Umar said, In the lifetime of the Prophet I dreamt that a piece of silk cloth was in my hand and it flew with me to whichever part of Paradise I wanted. I also saw as if two persons (i.e. angels) came to me and wanted to take me to Hell. Then an angel met us and told me not to be afraid. He then told them to leave me.
