حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ هُوَ ابْنُ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي جَعْفَرُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ ، عَنْ عِرَاكِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا , قَالَتْ : صَلَّى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْعِشَاءَ ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى ثَمَانِيَ رَكَعَاتٍ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ جَالِسًا وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَيْنَ النِّدَاءَيْنِ ، وَلَمْ يَكُنْ يَدَعْهُمَا أَبَدًا .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے عبداللہ بن یزید نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے سعید بن ابی ایوب نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ مجھ سے جعفر بن ربیعہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے عراک بن مالک نے، ان سے ابوسلمہ نے، ان سے عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہ   نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے عشاء کی نماز پڑھی پھر رات کو اٹھ کر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے تہجد کی آٹھ رکعتیں پڑھیں اور دو رکعتیں صبح کی اذان و اقامت کے درمیان پڑھیں جن کو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کبھی نہیں چھوڑتے تھے ( فجر کی سنتوں پر مداومت ثابت ہوئی ) ۔

English Translation

Narrated `Aisha;: Allah's Apostle offered the `Isha' prayer (and then got up at the Tahajjud time) and offered eight rak`at and then offered two rak`at while sitting. He then offered two rak`at in between the Adhan and Iqama (of the Fajr prayer) and he never missed them.
