Narrated Ibn `Umar: The Prophet ordered the people to pay Zakat-ul-Fitr before going to the `Id prayer.

حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ مَيْسَرَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عُقْبَةَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا , أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَرَ بِزَكَاةِ الْفِطْرِ قَبْلَ خُرُوجِ النَّاسِ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ .

ہم سے آدم بن ابی ایاس نے بیان کیا انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم سے حفص بن میسرہ نے بیان کیا ‘ انہوں نے کہا کہ مجھ سے موسیٰ بن عقبہ نے بیان کیا ‘ ان سے نافع نے اور ان سے عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہ   نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے صدقہ فطر نماز ( عید ) کے لیے جانے سے پہلے پہلے نکالنے کا حکم دیا تھا۔
