Narrated Jabir: The Prophet forbade going to one's family at night (on arrival from a journey).

حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ مُحَارِبٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : نَهَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَطْرُقَ أَهْلَهُ لَيْلًا .

ہم سے مسلم بن ابراہیم نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے شعبہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے محارب بن دثار نے اور ان سے جابر رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ( سفر سے ) گھر رات کے وقت اترنے سے منع فرمایا۔
