حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ ، حَدَّثَنَا نَافِعٌ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : قَامَ رَجُلٌ ، فَقَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، مَاذَا تَأْمُرُنَا أَنْ نَلْبَسَ مِنَ الثِّيَابِ فِي الْإِحْرَامِ ؟ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : لَا تَلْبَسُوا الْقَمِيصَ ، وَلَا السَّرَاوِيلَاتِ ، وَلَا الْعَمَائِمَ ، وَلَا الْبَرَانِسَ ، إِلَّا أَنْ يَكُونَ أَحَدٌ لَيْسَتْ لَهُ نَعْلَانِ فَلْيَلْبَسْ الْخُفَّيْنِ ، وَلْيَقْطَعْ أَسْفَلَ مِنَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ ، وَلَا تَلْبَسُوا شَيْئًا مَسَّهُ زَعْفَرَانٌ ، وَلَا الْوَرْسُ ، وَلَا تَنْتَقِبْ الْمَرْأَةُ الْمُحْرِمَةُ ، وَلَا تَلْبَسْ الْقُفَّازَيْنِ ، تَابَعَهُ مُوسَى بْنُ عُقْبَةَ ، وَإِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ ، وَجُوَيْرِيَةُ ، وَابْنُ إِسْحَاقَ فِي النِّقَابِ وَالْقُفَّازَيْنِ ، وَقَالَ عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ : وَلَا وَرْسٌ ، وَكَانَ يَقُولُ : لَا تَتَنَقَّبْ الْمُحْرِمَةُ وَلَا تَلْبَسْ الْقُفَّازَيْنِ ، وَقَالَ مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ : لَا تَتَنَقَّبْ الْمُحْرِمَةُ ، وَتَابَعَهُ لَيْثُ بْنُ أَبِي سُلَيْمٍ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے عبداللہ بن یزید نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے لیث نے بیان کیا، ان سے نافع نے بیان کیا اور ان سے عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے بیان کیا کہ   ایک شخص نے کھڑے ہو کر پوچھا یا رسول اللہ! حالت احرام میں ہمیں کون سے کپڑے پہننے کی اجازت دیتے ہیں؟ تو نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ نہ قمیص پہنو نہ پاجامے، نہ عمامے اور نہ برنس۔ اگر کسی کے جوتے نہ ہوں تو موزوں کو ٹخنوں کے نیچے سے کاٹ کر پہن لے۔ اسی طرح کوئی ایسا لباس نہ پہنو جس میں زعفران یا ورس لگا ہو۔ احرام کی حالت میں عورتیں منہ پر نقاب نہ ڈالیں اور دستانے بھی نہ پہنیں۔ لیث کے ساتھ اس روایت کی متابعت موسیٰ بن عقبہ اور اسماعیل بن ابراہیم بن عقبہ اور جویریہ اور ابن اسحاق نے نقاب اور دستانوں کے ذکر کے سلسلے میں کی ہے۔ عبیداللہ رحمہ اللہ نے «ولا ورس» کا لفظ بیان کیا وہ کہتے تھے کہ احرام کی حالت میں عورت منہ پر نہ نقاب ڈالے اور نہ دستانے استعمال کرے اور امام مالک نے نافع سے بیان کیا اور انہوں نے عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے بیان کیا کہ احرام کی حالت میں عورت نقاب نہ ڈالے اور لیث بن ابی سلیم نے مالک کی طرح روایت کی ہے۔

English Translation

Narrated `Abdullah bin `Umar: A person stood up and asked, O Allah's: Apostle! What clothes may be worn in the state of Ihram? The Prophet replied, Do not wear a shirt or trousers, or any headgear (e.g. a turban), or a hooded cloak; but if somebody has no shoes he can wear leather stockings provided they are cut short off the ankles, and also, do not wear anything perfumed with Wars or saffron, and the Muhrima (a woman in the state of Ihram) should not cover her face, or wear gloves.
