Narrated Al-Bara: The Prophet assumed Ihram for Umra in the month of Dhul-Qa'da but the (pagan) people of Mecca refused to admit him into Mecca till he agreed on the condition that he would not bring into Mecca any arms but sheathed.

حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ الْبَرَاءِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، اعْتَمَرَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي ذِي الْقَعْدَةِ ، فَأَبَى أَهْلُ مَكَّةَ أَنْ يَدَعُوهُ ، يَدْخُلُ مَكَّةَ ، حَتَّى قَاضَاهُمْ لَا يُدْخِلُ مَكَّةَ سِلَاحًا إِلَّا فِي الْقِرَابِ .

ہم سے عبیداللہ بن موصلی نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم سے اسرائیل نے، انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم سے ابواسحاق نے بیان کیا اور ان سے براء رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ   نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ذی قعدہ میں عمرہ کیا تو مکہ والوں نے آپ کو مکہ میں داخل ہونے سے روک دیا، پھر ان سے اس شرط پر صلح ہوئی کہ ہتھیار نیام میں ڈال کر مکہ میں داخل ہوں گے۔
