Baab Khareed O Farookht Ke Masail Ka Bayan

حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، حَدَّثَنَا جُوَيْرِيَةُ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : كُنَّا نَتَلَقَّى الرُّكْبَانَ فَنَشْتَرِي مِنْهُمُ الطَّعَامَ ، فَنَهَانَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ نَبِيعَهُ حَتَّى يُبْلَغَ بِهِ سُوقُ الطَّعَامِ ، قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد اللَّهِ : هَذَا فِي أَعْلَى السُّوقِ ، يُبَيِّنُهُ حَدِيثُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے موسیٰ بن اسماعیل نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے جویریہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے نافع نے اور ان سے عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ   ہم آگے قافلوں کے پاس خود ہی پہنچ جایا کرتے تھے اور ( شہر میں پہنچنے سے پہلے ہی ) ان سے غلہ خرید لیا کرتے، لیکن نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہمیں اس بات سے منع فرمایا کہ ہم اس مال کو اسی جگہ بیچیں جب تک اناج کے بازار میں نہ لائیں۔ امام بخاری رحمہ اللہ نے کہا کہ عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کا یہ ملنا بازار کے بلند کنارے پر تھا۔ ( جدھر سے سوداگر آیا کرتے تھے ) اور یہ بات عبیداللہ کی حدیث سے نکلتی ہے۔

English Translation

Narrated `Abdullah: We used to go ahead to meet the caravan and used to buy foodstuff from them. The Prophet forbade us to sell it till it was carried to the market.
