Baab Khareed O Farookht Ke Masail Ka Bayan

حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ مُقَاتِلٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا حُمَيْدٌ الطَّوِيلُ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى أَنْتُبَاعَ ثَمَرَةُ النَّخْلِ حَتَّى تَزْهُوَ ، قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد اللَّهِ : يَعْنِي حَتَّى تَحْمَرَّ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے ابن مقاتل نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم کو عبداللہ بن مبارک نے خبر دی، انہیں حمید طویل نے اور انہیں انس رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے پکنے سے پہلے درخت پر کھجور کو بیچنے سے منع فرمایا ہے، ابوعبداللہ ( امام بخاری رحمہ اللہ ) نے کہا کہ ( «حتى تزهو‏.‏» سے ) مراد یہ ہے کہ جب تک وہ پک کر سرخ نہ ہو جائیں۔

English Translation

Narrated Anas: Allah's Apostle forbade the sale of date fruits till they were ripe. Abu `Abdullah (Al-Bukhari) said, That means till they were red (can be eaten).
