Baab Hiba Ke Masail Fazeelat Aur Targheeb Ka Bayan

حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، قَالَتْ : كَانَ النَّاسُ يَتَحَرَّوْنَ بِهَدَايَاهُمْ يَوْمِي . وَقَالَتْ أُمُّ سَلَمَةَ : إِنَّ صَوَاحِبِي اجْتَمَعْنَ ، فَذَكَرَتْ لَهُ فَأَعْرَضَ عَنْهَا .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے سلیمان بن حرب نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے حماد بن زید نے بیان کیا ہشام سے، ان سے ان کے والد نے، ان سے عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے بیان کیا کہ   لوگ تحائف بھیجنے کے لیے میری باری کا انتظار کیا کرتے تھے۔ اور ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہا میری سوکنیں ( امہات المؤمنین رضوان اللہ علیہن ) جمع تھیں اس وقت انہوں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے ( بطور شکایت لوگوں کی اس روش کا ) ذکر کیا۔ تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے انہیں کوئی جواب نہیں دیا۔

English Translation

Narrated `Aisha: The people used to send gifts to the Prophet on the day of my turn. Um Salama said: My companions (the wives of the Prophet Other than Aisha) gathered and they complained about it. So I informed the Prophet about it on their behalf, but he remained silent.
