Narrated Anas: A Jubba (i.e. cloak) made of thick silken cloth was presented to the Prophet. The Prophet used to forbid people to wear silk. So, the people were pleased to see it. The Prophet said, By Him in Whose Hands Muhammad's soul is, the handkerchiefs of Sa`d bin Mu`adh in Paradise are better than this.

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسٌ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : أُهْدِيَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جُبَّةُ سُنْدُسٍ ، وَكَانَ يَنْهَى عَنِ الْحَرِيرِ ، فَعَجِبَ النَّاسُ مِنْهَا ، فَقَالَ : وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ لَمَنَادِيلُ سَعْدِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ أَحْسَنُ مِنْ هَذَا .

ہم سے عبداللہ بن محمد نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے یونس بن محمد نے بیان کیا، ان سے شیبان نے بیان کیا قتادہ سے اور ان سے انس رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ   نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں دبیز قسم کے ریشم کا ایک جبہ ہدیہ کے طور پر پیش کیا گیا۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اس کے استعمال سے ( مردوں کو ) منع فرماتے تھے۔ صحابہ کو بڑی حیرت ہوئی ( کہ کتنا عمدہ ریشم ہے ) آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ( تمہیں اس پر حیرت ہے ) اس ذات کی قسم جس کے ہاتھ میں محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی جان ہے، جنت میں سعد بن معاذ رضی اللہ عنہ کے رومال اس سے بھی زیادہ خوبصورت ہیں۔
