Baab Is Bayan May Ke Makhlooq Ki Pedaish Kiunkar Shuru Hui

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي عُمَرُ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : وَعَدَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جِبْرِيلُ فَقَالَ : إِنَّا لَا نَدْخُلُ بَيْتًا فِيهِ صُورَةٌ وَلَا كَلْبٌ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے یحییٰ بن سلیمان نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ مجھ سے عبداللہ بن وہب نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ مجھ سے عمرو نے بیان کیا، ان سے سالم نے اور ان سے ان کے باپ عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے بیان کیا کہ   ایک مرتبہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے جبرائیل علیہ السلام نے آنے کا وعدہ کیا تھا ( لیکن نہیں آئے ) پھر جب آئے تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان سے وجہ پوچھی، انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم کسی بھی ایسے گھر میں داخل نہیں ہوتے جس میں تصویر یا کتا موجود ہو۔

English Translation

Narrated Salim's father: Once Gabriel promised the Prophet (that he would visit him, but Gabriel did not come) and later on he said, We, angels, do not enter a house which contains a picture or a dog.
