Baab Is Bayan May Ke Makhlooq Ki Pedaish Kiunkar Shuru Hui

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ ، عَنْ الْأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : إِذَا سَمِعْتُمْ صِيَاحَ الدِّيَكَةِ فَاسْأَلُوا اللَّهَ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ فَإِنَّهَا رَأَتْ مَلَكًا ، وَإِذَا سَمِعْتُمْ نَهِيقَ الْحِمَارِ فَتَعَوَّذُوا بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ ، فَإِنَّهُ رَأَى شَيْطَانًا .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے قتیبہ نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے لیث بن سعد نے بیان کیا، ان سے جعفر بن ربیعہ نے، ان سے اعرج نے بیان کیا اور ان سے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ   نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”جب مرغ کی بانگ سنو تو اللہ سے اس کے فضل کا سوال کیا کرو، کیونکہ اس نے فرشتے کو دیکھا ہے اور جب گدھے کی آواز سنو تو شیطان سے اللہ کی پناہ مانگو کیونکہ اس نے شیطان کو دیکھا ہے۔“

English Translation

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, When you hear the crowing of cocks, ask for Allah's Blessings for (their crowing indicates that) they have seen an angel. And when you hear the braying of donkeys, seek Refuge with Allah from Satan for (their braying indicates) that they have seen a Satan.
