Baab Is Bayan May Ke Makhlooq Ki Pedaish Kiunkar Shuru Hui

حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : فُقِدَتْ أُمَّةٌ مِنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ لَا يُدْرَى مَا فَعَلَتْ وَإِنِّي لَا أُرَاهَا إِلَّا الْفَارَ إِذَا وُضِعَ لَهَا أَلْبَانُ الْإِبِلِ لَمْ تَشْرَبْ ، وَإِذَا وُضِعَ لَهَا أَلْبَانُ الشَّاءِ شَرِبَتْ فَحَدَّثْتُ كَعْبًا ، فَقَالَ : أَنْتَ سَمِعْتَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُهُ ؟ ، قُلْتُ : نَعَمْ ، قَالَ : لِي مِرَارًا ، فَقُلْتُ : أَفَأَقْرَأُ التَّوْرَاةَ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے موسیٰ بن اسماعیل نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے وہیب نے، ان سے خالد نے ان سے محمد بن سیرین نے اور ان سے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہ   نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”بنی اسرائیل میں کچھ لوگ غائب ہو گئے۔ ( ان کی صورتیں مسخ ہو گئیں ) میرا تو یہ خیال ہے کہ انہیں چوہے کی صورت میں مسخ کر دیا گیا۔ کیونکہ چوہوں کے سامنے جب اونٹ کا دودھ رکھا جاتا ہے تو وہ اسے نہیں پیتے ( کیونکہ بنی اسرائیل کے دین میں اونٹ کا گوشت حرام تھا ) اور اگر بکری کا دودھ رکھا جائے تو پی جاتے ہیں۔ پھر میں نے یہ حدیث کعب احبار سے بیان کی تو انہوں نے ( حیرت سے ) پوچھا، کیا واقعی آپ نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم یہ حدیث سنی ہے؟ کئی مرتبہ انہوں نے یہ سوال کیا۔ اس پر میں نے کہا ( کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے نہیں سنی تو پھر کس سے ) کیا میں توراۃ پڑھا کرتا ہوں؟ ( کہ اس سے نقل کر کے بیان کرتا ہوں ) ۔

English Translation

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, A group of Israelites were lost. Nobody knows what they did. But I do not see them except that they were cursed and changed into rats, for if you put the milk of a she-camel in front of a rat, it will not drink it, but if the milk of a sheep is put in front of it, it will drink it. I told this to Ka`b who asked me, Did you hear it from the Prophet ? I said, Yes. Ka`b asked me the same question several times.; I said to Ka`b. Do I read the Torah? (i.e. I tell you this from the Prophet.)
