Baab Is Bayan May Ke Makhlooq Ki Pedaish Kiunkar Shuru Hui

حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ حَدَّثَهُ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : مَنْ أَمْسَكَ كَلْبًا يَنْقُصْ مِنْ عَمَلِهِ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ قِيرَاطٌ إِلَّا كَلْبَ حَرْثٍ أَوْ كَلْبَ مَاشِيَةٍ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے موسیٰ بن اسماعیل نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے ہمام نے بیان کیا، ان سے یحییٰ نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابوسلمہ نے بیان کیا اور ان سے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”جو شخص کتا پالے، اس کے عمل نیک میں سے روزانہ ایک قیراط ( ثواب ) کم کر دیا جاتا ہے، کھیت کے لیے یا مویشی کے لیے جو کتے پالے جائیں وہ اس سے الگ ہیں۔“

English Translation

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, If somebody keeps a dog, he loses one Qirat (of the reward) of his good deeds everyday, except if he keeps it for the purpose of agriculture or for the protection of livestock.
