حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : اسْتَقْبَلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْكَعْبَةَ , فَدَعَا عَلَى نَفَرٍ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ عَلَى شَيْبَةَ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ , وَعُتْبَةَ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ , وَالْوَلِيدِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ , وَأَبِي جَهْلِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ , فَأَشْهَدُ بِاللَّهِ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُهُمْ صَرْعَى قَدْ غَيَّرَتْهُمُ الشَّمْسُ وَكَانَ يَوْمًا حَارًّا .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے عمرو بن خالد حرانی نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے زہیر بن معاویہ نے بیان کیا، ہم سے ابواسحاق سبیعی نے بیان کیا، ان سے عمرو بن میمون نے اور ان سے عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ   نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے کعبہ کی طرف منہ کر کے کفار قریش کے چند لوگوں شیبہ بن ربیعہ، عتبہ بن ربیعہ، ولید بن عتبہ اور ابوجہل بن ہشام کے حق میں بددعا کی تھی۔ میں اس کے لیے اللہ کو گواہ بناتا ہوں کہ میں نے ( بدر کے میدان میں ) ان کی لاشیں پڑی ہوئی پائیں۔ سورج نے ان کی لاشوں کو بدبودار کر دیا تھا۔ اس دن بڑی گرمی تھی۔

English Translation

Narrated `Abdullah bin Mas`ud: The Prophet faced the Ka`ba and invoked evil on some people of Quraish, on Shaiba bin Rabi`a, `Utba bin Rabi`a, Al-Walid bin `Utba and Abu Jahl bin Hisham. I bear witness, by Allah, that I saw them all dead, putrefied by the sun as that day was a very hot day.
