Narrated Ibn `Umar: On the day of Khaibar, Allah's Apostle forbade the eating of donkey meat.

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُقَاتِلٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : نَهَى يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ عَنْ لُحُومِ الْحُمُرِ الْأَهْلِيَّةِ .

ہم سے محمد بن مقاتل نے بیان کیا ‘ کہا ہم کو عبداللہ بن مبارک نے خبر دی ‘ ان سے عبیداللہ بن عمر نے بیان کیا ‘ ان سے نافع نے اور ان سے عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے بیان کیا کہ   نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے غزوہ خیبر کے موقع پر پالتو گدھے کا گوشت کھانے کی ممانعت کی تھی۔
