حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ أَبِي مُزَرِّدٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : خَلَقَ اللَّهُ الْخَلْقَ ، فَلَمَّا فَرَغَ مِنْهُ قَامَتِ الرَّحِمُ ، فَأَخَذَتْ بِحَقْوِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، فَقَالَ لَهُ : مَهْ ، قَالَتْ : هَذَا مَقَامُ الْعَائِذِ بِكَ مِنَ الْقَطِيعَةِ ، قَالَ : أَلَا تَرْضَيْنَ أَنْ أَصِلَ مَنْ وَصَلَكِ وَأَقْطَعَ مَنْ قَطَعَكِ ؟ قَالَتْ : بَلَى يَا رَبِّ ، قَالَ : فَذَاكِ ، قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ : اقْرَءُوا إِنْ شِئْتُمْ : فَهَلْ عَسَيْتُمْ إِنْ تَوَلَّيْتُمْ أَنْ تُفْسِدُوا فِي الأَرْضِ وَتُقَطِّعُوا أَرْحَامَكُمْ سورة محمد آية 22 .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے خالد بن مخلد نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم سے سلیمان نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ مجھ سے معاویہ بن ابی مزرد نے بیان کیا، ان سے سعید بن یسار نے اور ان سے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ   نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے مخلوق پیدا کی، جب وہ اس کی پیدائش سے فارغ ہوا تو رحم نے کھڑے ہو کر رحم کرنے والے اللہ کے دامن میں پناہ لی۔ اللہ تعالیٰ نے اس سے فرمایا کیا تجھے یہ پسند نہیں کہ جو تجھ کو جوڑے میں بھی اسے جوڑوں اور جو تجھے توڑے میں بھی اسے توڑ دوں۔ رحم نے عرض کیا، ہاں اے میرے رب! اللہ تعالیٰ نے فرمایا، پھر ایسا ہی ہو گا۔ ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ اگر تمہارا جی چاہے تو یہ آیت پڑھ لو «فهل عسيتم إن توليتم أن تفسدوا في الأرض وتقطعوا أرحامكم» ”اگر تم کنارہ کش رہو تو آیا تم کو یہ احتمال بھی ہے کہ تم لوگ دین میں فساد مچا دو گے اور آپس میں قطع تعلق کر لو گے۔“

English Translation

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, Allah created His creation, and when He had finished it, the womb, got up and caught hold of Allah whereupon Allah said, What is the matter?' On that, it said, 'I seek refuge with you from those who sever the ties of Kith and kin.' On that Allah said, 'Will you be satisfied if I bestow My favors on him who keeps your ties, and withhold My favors from him who severs your ties?' On that it said, 'Yes, O my Lord!' Then Allah said, 'That is for you.' Abu Huraira added: If you wish, you can recite: Would you then if you were given the authority. do mischief in the land and sever your ties of kinship. (47. 22)
