حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ بُكَيْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ ، عَنْ عُقَيْلٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، قَالَتْ : أَوَّلُ مَا بُدِئَ بِهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الرُّؤْيَا الصَّالِحَةُ ، فَجَاءَهُ الْمَلَكُ ، فَقَالَ : اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ { 1 } خَلَقَ الإِنْسَانَ مِنْ عَلَقٍ { 2 } اقْرَأْ وَرَبُّكَ الأَكْرَمُ { 3 } سورة العلق آية 1-3 .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے ابن بکیر نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے لیث بن سعد نے بیان کیا، ان سے عقیل نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابن شہاب نے، ان سے عروہ نے اور ان سے عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے بیان کیا کہ   شروع میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو سچے خواب دکھائے جانے لگے۔ پھر آپ کے پاس فرشتہ آیا اور کہا «اقرأ باسم ربك الذي خلق * خلق الإنسان من علق * اقرأ وربك الأكرم‏» کہ ”آپ پڑھئے، اپنے پروردگار کے نام کے ساتھ جس نے ( سب کو پیدا کیا ہے ) جس نے انسان کو خون کے لوتھڑے سے پیدا کیا ہے۔ آپ پڑھا کیجئے اور آپ کا پروردگار بڑا کریم ہے۔“

English Translation

Narrated Aisha: The commencement of the Divine Inspiration to Allah's Messenger was in the form of true dreams. The Angel came to him and said, Read, in the Name of your Lord Who has created (all that exists), has created man a clot. Read! And your Lord is Most Generous ..(96.1,2,3)
