Sahih Bukhari 5256 - The Book Of Divorce

Baab Talaq Ke Masail Ka Bayan

وَقَالَ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ : عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ عَبَّاسِ بْنِ سَهْلٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، وَأَبِي أُسَيْدٍ ، قَالَا : تَزَوَّجَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُمَيْمَةَ بِنْتَ شَرَاحِيلَ ، فَلَمَّا أُدْخِلَتْ عَلَيْهِ بَسَطَ يَدَهُ إِلَيْهَا فَكَأَنَّهَا كَرِهَتْ ذَلِكَ ، فَأَمَرَ أَبَا أُسَيْدٍ أَنْ يُجَهِّزَهَا وَيَكْسُوَهَا ثَوْبَيْنِ رَازِقِيَّيْنِ . حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي الْوَزِيرِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ حَمْزَةَ ،عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، وَعَنْ عَبَّاسِ بْنِ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ بِهَذَا .

Urdu Translation

اور حسین بن الولید نیساپوری نے بیان کیا کہ ان سے عبدالرحمٰن نے، ان سے عباس بن سہل نے، ان سے ان کے والد (سہل بن سعد) اور ابواسید رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے امیمہ بنت شراحیل سے نکاح کیا تھا، پھر جب وہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے یہاں لائی گئیں۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان کی طرف ہاتھ بڑھایا جسے اس نے ناپسند کیا۔ اس لیے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ابواسید رضی اللہ عنہ سے فرمایا کہ ان کا سامان کر دیں اور رازقیہ کے دو کپڑے انہیں پہننے کے لیے دے دیں۔

English Translation

Narrated Sahl and Abu Usaid: The Prophet married Umaima bint Sharahil, and when she was brought to him, he stretched his hand towards her. It seemed that she disliked that, whereupon the Prophet ordered Abu Usaid to prepare her and to provide her with two white linen dresses.
