Baab Talaq Ke Masail Ka Bayan

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ ، عَنْ اللَّيْثِ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ ، أَنَّ ابْنَ شِهَابٍ كَتَبَ إِلَيْهِ ، أَنَّ عُبَيْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَخْبَرَهُ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنَّهُ كَتَبَ إِلَى ابْنِ الْأَرْقَمِ أَنْ يَسْأَلَ سُبَيْعَةَ الْأَسْلَمِيَّةَ ، كَيْفَ أَفْتَاهَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ؟ فَقَالَتْ : أَفْتَانِي إِذَا وَضَعْتُ أَنْ أَنْكِحَ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے یحییٰ بن بکیر نے بیان کیا، ان سے لیث نے، ان سے یزید نے کہ ابن شہاب نے انہیں لکھا کہ عبیداللہ بن عبداللہ نے اپنے والد (عبداللہ بن عتبہ بن مسعود) سے انہیں خبر دی کہ انہوں نے ابن الارقم کو لکھا کہ سبیعہ اسلمیہ سے پوچھیں کہ   نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان کے متعلق کیا فتویٰ دیا تھا تو انہوں نے فرمایا کہ جب میرے یہاں بچہ پیدا ہو گیا تو نبی کریم نے مجھے فتویٰ دیا کہ اب میں نکاح کر لوں۔

English Translation

Narrated `Abdullah bin `Abdullah: that his father had written to Ibn Al-Arqam a letter asking him to ask Subai'a Al-Aslamiya how the Prophet had given her the verdict. She said, The Prophet, gave me his verdict that after I gave birth, I could marry.
