Baab Kharcha Dene Ke Bayan Main

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، قَالَتْ هِنْدُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، إِنَّ أَبَا سُفْيَانَ رَجُلٌ شَحِيحٌ ، فَهَلْ عَلَيَّ جُنَاحٌ أَنْ آخُذَ مِنْ مَالِهِ مَا يَكْفِينِي وَبَنِيَّ ؟ قَالَ : خُذِي بِالْمَعْرُوفِ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے محمد بن یوسف نے بیان کیا، ان سے سفیان ثوری نے بیان کیا، ان سے ہشام بن عروہ نے، ان سے ان کے والد نے اور ان سے عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے بیان کیا کہ ہند نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! ابوسفیان بخیل ہیں۔ اگر میں ان کے مال سے اتنا ( ان سے پوچھے بغیر ) لے لیا کروں جو میرے اور میرے بچوں کو کافی ہو تو کیا اس میں کوئی گناہ ہے؟ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ دستور کے مطابق لے لیا کرو۔

English Translation

Narrated `Aisha: Hind (bint `Utba) said, O Allah's Apostle! Abu Sufyan is a miser. Is there any harm if I take of his property what will cover me and my children's needs? The Prophet said, Take (according to your needs) in a reasonable manner.
