حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَلْحَلَةَ الدِّيلِيِّ ، عَنْ وَهْبِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ أَبِي نُعَيْمٍ ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : أَكَلْتُ يَوْمًا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ طَعَامًا ، فَجَعَلْتُ آكُلُ مِنْ نَوَاحِي الصَّحْفَةِ ، فَقَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : كُلْ مِمَّا يَلِيكَ .

Urdu Translation

مجھ سے عبدالعزیز بن عبداللہ اویسی نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ مجھ سے محمد بن جعفر نے بیان کیا، ان سے محمد بن عمرو بن حلحلہ دیلی نے بیان کیا، ان سے وہب بن کیسان ابونعیم نے بیان کیا، ان سے عمر بن ابی سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے، وہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی زوجہ مطہرہ ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہا کے (ابوسلمہ سے) بیٹے ہیں۔ بیان کیا کہ   ایک دن میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ کھانا کھایا اور برتن کے چاروں طرف سے کھانے لگا تو نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مجھ سے فرمایا کہ اپنے نزدیک سے کھا۔

English Translation

Narrated `Umar bin Al Salama: Who was the son of Um Salama, the wife of the Prophet: Once I ate a meal with Allah's Apostle and I was eating from all sides of the dish. So Allah's Apostle said to me, Eat of the dish what is nearer to you.
