Baab Dawa Aur Elaaj Ke Bayan Main

حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ عُفَيْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْقَارِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ السَّاعِدِيِّ ، قَالَ : لَمَّا كُسِرَتْ عَلَى رَأْسِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْبَيْضَةُ وَأُدْمِيَ وَجْهُهُ وَكُسِرَتْ رَبَاعِيَتُهُ وَكَانَ عَلِيٌّ يَخْتَلِفُ بِالْمَاءِ فِي الْمِجَنِّ وَجَاءَتْ فَاطِمَةُ تَغْسِلُ ، عَنْ وَجْهِهِ الدَّمَ فَلَمَّا رَأَتْ فَاطِمَةُ عَلَيْهَا السَّلَام الدَّمَ يَزِيدُ عَلَى الْمَاءِ كَثْرَةً عَمَدَتْ إِلَى حَصِيرٍ فَأَحْرَقَتْهَا وَأَلْصَقَتْهَا عَلَى جُرْحِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَرَقَأَ الدَّمُ .

Urdu Translation

مجھ سے سعید بن عفیر نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے یعقوب بن عبدالرحمٰن نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابوحازم نے بیان کیا، اور ان سے سہل بن سعد ساعدی رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ   جب رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے سر پر ( احد کے دن ) خود ٹوٹ گیا آپ کا مبارک چہرہ خون آلود ہو گیا اور سامنے کے دانت ٹوٹ گئے تو علی رضی اللہ عنہ ڈھال بھربھر کر پانی لاتے تھے اور فاطمہ رضی اللہ عنہا آپ کے چہرہ مبارک سے خون دھو رہی تھیں۔ پھر جب فاطمہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے دیکھا کہ خون پانی سے بھی زیادہ آ رہا ہے تو انہوں نے ایک بوریا جلا کر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے زخموں پر لگایا اور اس سے خون رکا۔

English Translation

Narrated Sahl bin Saud As-Sa`idi: When the helmet broke on the head of the Prophet and his face became covered with blood and his incisor tooth broke (i.e. during the battle of Uhud), `Ali used to bring water in his shield while Fatima was washing the blood off his face. When Fatima saw that the bleeding increased because of the water, she took a mat (of palm leaves), burnt it, and stuck it (the burnt ashes) on the wound of Allah's Apostle, whereupon the bleeding stopped.
