حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَلْيُكْرِمْ ضَيْفَهُ ، وَمَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَلْيَصِلْ رَحِمَهُ ، وَمَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَلْيَقُلْ خَيْرًا أَوْ لِيَصْمُتْ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے عبداللہ بن محمد مسندی نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے ہشام بن یوسف نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم کو معمر نے خبر دی، انہیں زہری نے انہیں ابوسلمہ نے اور انہیں ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہ   نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”جو شخص اللہ پر اور آخرت کے دن پر ایمان رکھتا ہو اسے اپنے مہمان کی عزت کرنی چاہیئے اور جو شخص اللہ اور آخرت کے دن پر ایمان رکھتا ہو اسے چاہئے کہ وہ صلہ رحمی کرے، جو شخص اللہ اور آخرت کے دن پر ایمان رکھتا ہو، اسے چاہیئے کہ اچھی بات زبان سے نکالے ورنہ چپ رہے۔“

English Translation

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, should serve his guest generously; and whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, should unite the bond of kinship (i.e. keep good relation with his Kith and kin); and whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, should talk what is good or keep quit.
