حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرٌو ، عَنْ عَبْدِ رَبِّهِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ مَخْرَمَةَ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ مَوْلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، قَالَ : نِمْتُ عِنْدَ مَيْمُونَةَ وَالنَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عِنْدَهَا تِلْكَ اللَّيْلَةَ فَتَوَضَّأَ ، ثُمَّ قَامَ يُصَلِّي فَقُمْتُ عَلَى يَسَارِهِ فَأَخَذَنِي فَجَعَلَنِي عَنْ يَمِينِهِ فَصَلَّى ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً ، ثُمَّ نَامَ حَتَّى نَفَخَ ، وَكَانَ إِذَا نَامَ نَفَخَ ثُمَّ أَتَاهُ الْمُؤَذِّنُ فَخَرَجَ فَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ ، قَالَ عَمْرٌو : فَحَدَّثْتُ بِهِ بُكَيْرًا ، فَقَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي كُرَيْبٌ بِذَلِكَ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے احمد بن صالح نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے عبداللہ بن وہب نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے عمرو بن حارث مصری نے عبد ربہ بن سعید سے بیان کیا، انہوں نے مخرمہ بن سلیمان سے، انہوں نے ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کے غلام کریب سے انہوں نے ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے۔ آپ نے بتلایا کہ   میں ایک رات ام المؤمنین میمونہ کے ہاں سو گیا۔ اس رات نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی بھی وہیں سونے کی باری تھی۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے وضو کیا اور نماز پڑھنے کے لیے کھڑے ہو گئے۔ میں آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے بائیں طرف کھڑا ہو گیا۔ اس لیے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مجھے پکڑ کر دائیں طرف کر دیا۔ پھر تیرہ رکعت ( وتر سمیت ) نماز پڑھی اور سو گئے۔ یہاں تک کہ خراٹے لینے لگے اور نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جب سوتے تو خراٹے لیتے تھے۔ پھر مؤذن آیا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم باہر تشریف لے گئے۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس کے بعد ( فجر کی ) نماز پڑھی اور وضو نہیں کیا۔ عمرو نے بیان کیا میں نے یہ حدیث بکیر بن عبداللہ کے سامنے بیان کی تو انہوں نے فرمایا کہ یہ حدیث مجھ سے کریب نے بھی بیان کی تھی۔

English Translation

Narrated Ibn `Abbas: One night I slept at the house of (my aunt) Maimuna and the Prophet was there on that night. He performed ablution and stood up for the prayer. I joined him and stood on his left side but he drew me to his right and prayed thirteen rak`at and then slept till I heard his breath sounds. And whenever he slept, he used to breathe with audible sounds. The Mu'adh-dhin came to the Prophet and he went out and prayed the morning prayer) without repeating the ablution.
