Narrated Mu`adh bin Jabal: I used to pray the `Isha prayer with the Prophet and then go to lead my people in the prayer

حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، أَنَّ مُعَاذَ بْنَ جَبَلٍ كَانَ يُصَلِّي مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، ثُمَّ يَرْجِعُ فَيَؤُمُّ قَوْمَهُ .

ہم سے مسلم بن ابراہیم نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے شعبہ نے عمرو بن دینار سے بیان کیا، انہوں نے جابر بن عبداللہ سے کہ   معاذ بن جبل رضی اللہ عنہ، نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ نماز پڑھتے پھر واپس آ کر اپنی قوم کی امامت کیا کرتے تھے۔
