Baab Khuwab Ki Tabeer Ka Bayan Mein

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ يُونُسَ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : مَنْ رَآنِي فِي الْمَنَامِ فَسَيَرَانِي فِي الْيَقَظَةِ ، وَلَا يَتَمَثَّلُ الشَّيْطَانُ بِي ، قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد اللَّهِ ، قَالَ ابْنُ سِيرِينَ : إِذَا رَآهُ فِي صُورَتِهِ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے عبدان نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم کو عبداللہ نے خبر دی، انہیں یونس نے، انہیں زہری نے، کہا مجھ سے ابوسلمہ نے اور ان سے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ   میں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سنا، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ جس نے مجھے خواب میں دیکھا تو کسی دن مجھے بیداری میں بھی دیکھے گا اور شیطان میری صورت میں نہیں آ سکتا۔ ابوعبداللہ ( امام بخاری رحمہ اللہ ) نے کہا کہ ابن سیرین نے بیان کیا کہ جب نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو کوئی شخص آپ کی صورت میں دیکھے۔

English Translation

Narrated Abu Huraira: I heard the Prophet saying, Whoever sees me in a dream will see me in his wakefulness, and Satan cannot imitate me in shape. Abu `Abdullah said, Ibn Seereen said, 'Only if he sees the Prophet in his (real) shape.'
