Baab Naik Tareen Arzoun Ke Jaiz Hone Ke Bayan Main

حَدَّثَنَا عَيَّاشُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى ، حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَال : وَاصَلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ آخِرَ الشَّهْرِ ، وَوَاصَلَ أُنَاسٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ ، فَبَلَغَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : لَوْ مُدَّ بِيَ الشَّهْرُ لَوَاصَلْتُ وِصَالًا يَدَعُ الْمُتَعَمِّقُونَ تَعَمُّقَهُمْ إِنِّي لَسْتُ مِثْلَكُمْ ، إِنِّي أَظَلُّ يُطْعِمُنِي رَبِّي وَيَسْقِينِ ، تَابَعَهُ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ مُغِيرَةَ ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے عیاش بن الولید نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے عبدالاعلیٰ نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے حمید طویل نے، ان سے ثابت نے اور ان سے انس رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ   نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے رمضان کے آخری دنوں میں صوم وصال رکھا تو بعض صحابہ نے بھی صوم وصال رکھا۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو اس کی اطلاع ملی تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا اگر اس مہینے کے دن اور بڑھ جاتے تو میں اتنے دن متواتر وصال کرتا کہ ہوس کرنے والے اپنی ہوس چھوڑ دیتے، میں تم لوگوں جیسا نہیں ہوں۔ میں اس طرح دن گزارتا ہوں کہ میرا رب مجھے کھلاتا پلاتا ہے۔ اس روایت کی متابعت سلیمان بن مغیرہ نے کی، ان سے ثابت نے، ان سے انس رضی اللہ عنہ نے، ان سے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایسا فرمایا جو اوپر مذکور ہوا۔

English Translation

Narrated Anas: The Prophet fasted Al-Wisal on the last days of the month. Some people did the same, and when the news reached the Prophet he said, If the month had been prolonged for me, then I would have fasted Wisal for such a long time that the most exaggerating ones among you would have given up their exaggeration. I am not like you; my Lord always makes me eat and drink.
