Narrated Ibn `Abbas: Allah's Apostle used to say at the time of difficulty, None has the right to be worshipped but Allah, the Majestic, the Most Forbearing. None has the right to be worshipped but Allah, the Lord of the Tremendous Throne. None has the right to be worshipped but Allah, the Lord of the Heavens and the Lord of the Honourable Throne. حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَدْعُو بِهِنَّ عِنْدَ الْكَرْبِ : لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ الْعَظِيمُ الْحَلِيمُ ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ رَبُّ السَّمَوَاتِ وَرَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْكَرِيمِ .

ہم سے عبدالاعلیٰ بن حماد نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے یزید بن زریع نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے سعید نے بیان کیا، ان سے قتادہ نے، ان سے ابوالعالیہ نے اور ان سے ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہ   نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم یہ دعا پریشانی کے وقت کرتے تھے «لا إله إلا الله العظيم الحليم،‏‏‏‏ ‏‏‏‏ لا إله إلا الله رب العرش العظيم،‏‏‏‏ ‏‏‏‏ لا إله إلا الله رب السموات ورب العرش الكريم» ”کوئی معبود اللہ کے سوا نہیں جو عظیم ہے اور بردبار ہے، کوئی معبود اللہ کے سوا نہیں جو عرش عظیم کا رب ہے، کوئی معبود اللہ کے سوا نہیں جو آسمانوں کا رب ہے اور عرش کریم کا رب ہے۔
