وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ كَثِيرٍ، حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ حُنَيْنٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، يَقُولُ: «نَهَانِي رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ قِرَاءَةِ الْقُرْآنِ وَأَنَا رَاكِعٌ أَوْ سَاجِدٌ

Urdu Translation

  ۔ ابن شہاب زہری نے کہا : مجھے ابراہیم بن عبد اللہ بن حنین نے حدیث سنائی کہ ان کے والد نے ان سے بیان کیا ، انہوں نے حضرت علی بن ابی طالب ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ ‌ ‌ سے سنا ، انہوں نے کہا کہ مجھے رسول اللہﷺ نے رکوع اور سجدے میں قرآن پڑھنے سے منع فرمایا ۔

English Translation

Ali b. Abi Talib reported: The Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) forbade me to recite (the Qur'an) in a state of bowing and prostration.
