حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ: قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ سَائِلًا سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ فِي الثَّوْبِ الْوَاحِدِ؟ فَقَالَ «أَوَلِكُلِّكُمْ ثَوْبَانِ؟

Urdu Translation

  ۔ امام مالک نے ابن شہاب ( زہری ) سے ، انہوں نے سعید بن مسیب سے اور انہوں نے حضرت ابو ہریرہ ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ ‌ ‌ سے روایت کی کہ ایک سائل نے رسول اللہﷺ سے ایک کپڑے میں نماز پڑھنے کے بارے میں سوال کیا تو آپ نے فرمایا : ’’ کیا تم میں سے ہر ایک کے پاس دو کپڑے ہیں؟ ‘ ‘

English Translation

Abu Huraira reported: An inquirer asked the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) about the prayer in a single garment. He (the Holy Prophet) add: Has everyone of you two garments?
