Baab Namaz Ke Ahkam O Masail

حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ، وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ - وَاللَّفْظُ لِعَمْرٍو - قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيُّ أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «فَرَأَيْتُهُ يُصَلِّي عَلَى حَصِيرٍ يَسْجُدُ عَلَيْهِ» قَالَ: «وَرَأَيْتُهُ يُصَلِّي فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ مُتَوَشِّحًا بِهِ»

Urdu Translation

۔ عیسیٰ بن یونس نے کہا : ہمیں اعمش نے ابو سفیان سے حدیث سنائی ، انہوں نے حضرت جابر ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ ‌ ‌ سے روایت کی ، انہوں نے کہا ، مجھے حضرت ابو سعید خدری ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ ‌ ‌ نے حدیث سنائی کہ وہ نبی اکرمﷺ کے ہاں حاضر ہوئے ، کہا : تو میں نے آپ کو ایک چٹائی پر نماز پڑھتے دیکھا اس پر آپ سجدہ کرتے تھے اور میں نے آپ کو دیکھا آپ ایک کپڑے میں اس کو پٹکے کی طرح لپیٹ کر نماز پڑھ رہے تھے ۔

English Translation

Abu Sa'id al Khudri reported: I visited the Apostle ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) and saw him praying on a reed mat on which he was prostrating himself. And I saw him praying in a single garment with ends crossed with each other.
