Abdullah b. 'Atiq narrated from the Apostle ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) on the authority of 'A'isha, but he made no mention of the account of Qasim.

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، وَقُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، وَابْنُ حُجْرٍ، قَالُوا: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو حَزْرَةَ الْقَاصُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي عَتِيقٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، بِمِثْلِهِ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ فِي الْحَدِيثِ قِصَّةَ الْقَاسِمِ

  اسماعیل بن جعفر نے کہا : مجھے ابو حزرہ القاص ( یققوب بن مجاہد ) نے عبداللہ بن ابی عتیق سے خبر دی ، انھوں نے حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالی عنہا سے اور انھوں نے نبی ﷺ سے اسی کے مانند روایت کی اور حدیث میں قاسم کا واقعہ بیان نہ کیا ۔
