Baab Masjid Aur Namaz Ki Jagahain

وَحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ ح قَالَ: وَحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، قَالَا: جَمِيعًا أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ مَنْ أَكَلَ مِنْ هَذِهِ الشَّجَرَةِ يُرِيدُ الثُّومَ فَلَا يَغْشَنَا فِي مَسْجِدِنَا وَلَمْ يَذْكُرِ الْبَصَلَ وَالْكُرَّاثَ

Urdu Translation

  محمد بن بکر اور عبدالرزاق نے ( دو مختلف سندوں سے روایت کرتے ہوئے ) کہا : ہمیں ابن جریج نے اسی ( سابقہ ) سند کے ساتھ خبر دی کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا : ’’جس نے اس پودے ۔ آپ کی مراد لہسن سے تھی ۔ میں سے کچھ کھایا ہو وہ ہماری مسجد میں ہمارے پاس نہ آئے ۔ ‘ ‘ اور انھوں ( ابن جریج ) نے پیاز اور گندنے کا ذکر نہیں کیا ۔

English Translation

Ibn Juraij has narrated it with the same chain of transmitters: He who eats of this plant, i. e. garlic, should not come to us in our mosque, and he made no mention of onions or leek.
