حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، وَحَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى - قَالَ هَارُونُ: حَدَّثَنَا وَقَالَ حَرْمَلَةُ: - أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عُرْوَةُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَعِنْدِي امْرَأَةٌ مِنَ الْيَهُودِ، وَهِيَ تَقُولُ: هَلْ شَعَرْتِ أَنَّكُمْ تُفْتَنُونَ فِي الْقُبُورِ؟ قَالَتْ: فَارْتَاعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَالَ: «إِنَّمَا تُفْتَنُ يَهُودُ» قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ: فَلَبِثْنَا لَيَالِيَ، ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «هَلْ شَعَرْتِ أَنَّهُ أُوحِيَ إِلَيَّ أَنَّكُمْ تُفْتَنُونَ فِي الْقُبُورِ؟» قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ: «فَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، بَعْدُ يَسْتَعِيذُ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ»

Urdu Translation

 عروہ بن زبیر نے حدیث بیان کی کہ حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہانے کہا : رسول اللہ ﷺ میرے ہاں تشریف لائے جبکہ میرے پاس ایک یہودی عورت موجود تھی اور وہ کہہ رہی تھی : کیا تمہیں پتہ ہے کہ قبر و ں میں تمہارا امتحان ہوگا ؟عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں : اس پر رسول اللہ ﷺ خوفزدہ ہو گئے اور فرمایا : ’’یہودی کی آزمائش ہو گی ۔ ‘ ‘ حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے بتلایا : کچھ دن گزرنے کے بعد رسو اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا : ’’کیا تمہیں پتہ چلا مجھے وحی کی گئی ہے کہ تم قبرو ں میں آزمائے جاؤ گے؟ ‘ ‘ حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہا : میں نے اس کے بعد رسو ل اللہﷺ کو سنا ‘ آپ عذاب قبر سے پناہ مانگتے تھے ۔

English Translation

A'isha reported: The Prophet ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) entered my house when a Jewess was with me and she was saying: Do you know that you would be put to trial in the grave? The Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) trembled (on hearing this) and said: It is the Jews only who would-be put to trial. 'A'isha said: We passed some nights and then the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) said: Do you know that it has been revealed to me: You would be put to trial in the grave ? 'A'isha said: 1 heard the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) seeking refuge from the torment of the grave after this.
