It is narrated on the authority of 'Uthman that the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) said. He who died knowing (fully well) that there is no god but Allah entered Paradise.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، كِلَاهُمَا عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ حُمْرَانَ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ مَاتَ وَهُوَ يَعْلَمُ أَنَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ، دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ»

  اسماعیل بن ابراہیم ( ابن علیہ ) نے خالد ( حذاء ) سے روایت کی ، انہوں نے کہا : مجھے ولید بن مسلم نے حمران سے ، انہوں نے حضرت عثمان ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ ‌ ‌ سے روایت کی ، کہا : رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا : ’’ جو شخص مر گیا اور وہ ( یقین کے ساتھ ) جانتا تھا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ کے سوا کوئی عبادت کے لائق نہیں ، وہ جنت میں داخل ہو گا ۔ ‘ ‘
